The Cornell Center for a Sustainable Future hosts several informal working lunches each month for Cornell researchers interested in sustainability. The CCSF's topical lunch series is intended to foster new collaborations across disciplines and fields.

These lunches are working sessions that allow plenty of time for conversation with fellow researchers. After one of CCSF's directors briefly introduces the Center and the topical lunch series, the session's organizer gives a short presentation on the sustainability issue of the day, including Cornell's strengths or weaknesses in the area, ways to generate an impact, and possible external partners for research, funding, and outreach. The remainder of the session is given over to collegial discussion.

Please join us for the upcoming lunches listed on this page. If you would like to lead a session, we encourage you to propose a specific topic and recruit 5-10 faculty, postdoctoral associates, and students to attend; CCSF directors, the faculty advisory committee, and others will also be invited. Our goal is to have 10-20 participants, primarily people who are not currently collaborating with one another, at each lunch session.

CCSF works cooperatively with Cornell's Colleges and Schools to offer programs that bring together scholars working on related topics across campus to help Cornell University more effectively tackle important problems in energy, the environment, and economic development. We encourage you to find out more about how CCSF supports exciting new research and partnerships in sustainability by contacting us.
