CCSF works with individuals, programs, and initiatives in sustainability in many Cornell colleges, schools, centers, offices and institutes, including the following:

- Baker Institute for Animal Health: dedicated to the study of veterinary infectious diseases, immunology, genetics, and reproduction
- Boyce Thompson Institute for Plant Research: explores the molecular, genetic and chemical basis of how plants grow and interact with their environment
- Bronfenbrenner Life Course Center: serves as a catalyst at Cornell for collaborative social science research, education, and outreach in life course, demographic, and family perspectives
- Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise: maintains a global network engaged in collaborative research and field work focused on business and sustainability
- Center for the Study of Inequality: fosters basic and applied research on social and economic inequalities, as well as the processes by which such inequalities change and persist
- Cornell Center for Materials Research: provides support for interdisciplinary materials research and education while addressing fundamental problems in science and engineering
- Cornell Cooperative Extension and Sustainability: The CCE site offers a wealth of related information, including links to both "Energy & Sustainability" and "Sustainability and CCE"
- Cornell Fuel Cell Institute: is developing advanced materials for lower-temperature polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) fuel cells
- Cornell International Institute for Food, Agriculture, and Development: initiates and supports innovative programs that improve prospects for global food security, sustainable rural development and environmental conservation around the world
- Cornell Outreach Portal - "Sustainability": This resource provides an ever-growing list of outreach activities and opportunities related to sustainability at Cornell
- Cornell Plantations: preserves and enhances diverse horticultural collections and natural areas for academic and public enrichment, in support of scientific research
- Cornell Population Program: serves as Cornell's intellectual hub for demographic research and training
- Cornell Sustainable Campus: part of the effort to develop strategies for sustainability at Cornell, through greener facilities and practices
- Cornell University Agricultural Experiment Station: links Cornell with Cornell Cooperative Extension, on agriculture and food systems, quality of life, youth development, community and economic vitality, and natural resources and the environment
- Engineering Energy Studies: presents energy research under way within beyond the School of Engineering
- Institute for Computational Sustainability: sponsors research on computational methods for a sustainable environment, economy, and society
- Institute for the Social Sciences: encourages collaborations among social scientists across disciplinary and institutional boundaries, engages the Cornell community in discussions of cutting-edge topics in the social sciences, and assists departments and programs in retaining top social science faculty and attracting new talent
- KAUST Cornell Center for Energy and Sustainability: investigates organic-inorganic hybrid nanomaterials for applications in water desalination, carbon capture and sequestration, oil and gas production, and solar energy
- Mario Einaudi Center for International Studies: catalyses and supports research, teaching and outreach activities that advance international studies at Cornell
- Northeast Regional Climate Center: gives the public up-to-date weather forecasts, pest management strategies, current research, and other weather-related data
- Northeast Sun Grant Initiative: fosters research in sustainable bioenergy bioproducts for a better environment and a growing economy
- Office of Environmental Compliance and Sustainability: ensures compliance with regulations that protect the air, water, and other natural resources throughout the university and leads the campus operations Sustainability Initiative
- President's Climate Commitment Implementation Committee: formed following President Skorton's signing of the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment to oversee the development of Cornell's Climate Action Plan (CAP) by September 2009
