Faculty Advisory Board

The Atkinson Center's Faculty Advisory Board (FAB) was formed in early 2008 and the first meeting took place on March 13, 2008. The FAB guides the activities of the ACSF. At least 25 faculty—18 regular voting members and 7 or more ex officio members—comprise the FAB.

Leadership

The chair and vice chair of the FAB are nominated and chosen annually by vote of the committee. Zellman Warhaft was elected chair, Todd Cowen vice chair, and Natalie Mahowald past chair for the 2010-2011 academic year.

Voting Members:

Six tenured or tenure-track Cornell University faculty members represent each of ACSF's major program areas. One of the faculty members in each major area is that program's associate director, with the remaining five members appointed by the ACSF director and respective associate director in consultation with the FAB's chair and college deans.
