Leadership & Staff
Our offices are in 200 Rice Hall on Tower Road, near the center of campus.
The Atkinson Center represents a bold commitment to develop and deploy knowledge, advancing solutions to some of society's most complex and pressing problems. Sustainability transcends individual disciplines, while resting on a foundation of disciplinary understanding. The Center's three major program areas—Energy, Environment, and Economic Development—are tightly linked and interdependent.
The Atkinson Center is led by a team of four tenured faculty and three academic staff members. The director and three associate directors serve on a part-time basis, in addition to their teaching and research, while the Center's executive director, partnerships director, and communications director are full-time administrators. Two staff members, the web and communication manager and an administrative assistant, complete the full-time roster. Additional part-time staff and students assist the Center in carrying out its mission.
