Contact Paula Euvrard pge3@cornell.edu to register. Registrants will be contacted with meeting details and location.

LETTER OF INTENT:

CCSF has now received 53 letters of intent. To spur collaboration among Cornell researchers, we have compiled the letters into a searchable, downloadable pdf. This file is for use by Cornell researcher ONLY. It may not be shared in any form with anyone off-campus, including non-Cornell collaborators. If in doubt, do not share. We ask you to protect the interests of your colleagues in sustainability by keeping this information secure. Prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to discuss their ideas with CCSF leadership well in advance of submitting a proposal. If you have questions, contact ccsf@cornell.edu

PROPOSALS DUE:

September 5, 2008 by 4:00 PM EDT (No extensions)

See the Request for Proposals for submission details.

BUDGET INFORMATION:

Proposers are requested to provide sufficient budget information for reviewers to assess the appropriateness of the request. We ask proposers to include stipend, full tuition and health benefits for graduate students along with appropriate fringe benefits for salaried employees. A sample budget template is provided as an Excel file

All proposers may include up to one page of budget justification along with their budget. The justification may be attached at the end of the proposal narrative or included as a separate worksheet in the budget form.

We especially encourage proposers with non-standard requests, who are funding external groups, or who have a matching funds arrangement to provide a justification. The AVF funds are intended to support work at Cornell, so sending funds externally will be closely scrutinized. Matching funds provide excellent leverage, but proposers should explain why the request cannot be fully funded by external sources and how AVF funds will enable future external funding.
